Conservative Conference 2018

Great to have the Secretary of State for work and pensions, Esther McVey to our Midlands training symposium. Opened and arranged by our magnificent Mayor, Andy Street, it emphasised the need to address, and overcome the inequalities in training. This means a level playing field, and a better chance for a good job regardless of background. We can afford to do this because the Goverment has produced a thousand jobs a day since 2010, and consequently put the economy on a firm footing after so many Labour years of higher unemployment, and “the end of boom and bust” just before the recession. God save us from economists. Mind you, do you notice my halo is slipping? She is a wonderful example of a mancunian lass!!
