New Wheelchair transit.

A Peugeot for all seasons.

The new(ish) wheelchair transit which will be put to use on the school run as soon as some items are sorted out. A great addition to the 16 vehicles of Shencare Community Transport, and enables us to take one of our old vehicles and sell it for just above scrap. That had been SORNed for over a year, so is well removed. We have also put our name (and deposit) down for a brand new multi wheelchair vehicle which will be on the fleet in September.

The balance will be for the subsidised trips to be covered by the normal services. That is not as easy as it sounds, and requires all the skill of the Business Manager Chris Busst, who has an enormous amount of knowledge about vehicles, fleet running, and MIDAS training which enable us to be a not-for-profit third sector success!
